The Vision of the College is to be a World-class Centre of Excellence for manpower development in the healthcare industry.
The Mission of ELEOS College of Nursing Sciences is to train polyvalent and compassionate professional nurses through the facilitation of learning, training, clinical practice, evidence-based research and community engagements.

Driven by our name – ELEOS (Mercy and Compassion in action), our goal is to produce globally-relevant nurses who embody compassion, clinical excellence, Christ-like service, and uphold the dignity of human life, integrating faith and ethical practice to meet the physical, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs of individuals and communities; in accordance with the standards approved by Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N&MCN) and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The objectives of the College are designed to achieve our mission and vision through comprehensive educational programs and community engagement.

Provide excellent education and training to students and graduates in Nursing Sciences and a variety of healthcare disciplines and prepare them for professional practice in global healthcare environments.
Prepare the learners for career success through licensure, certification and other professional distinctions.
Promote innovative continuing education for health professionals and interested lay public, towards mitigating health emergencies.
Promote inter-disciplinary research that foster excellent professional development and evidence-based healthcare delivery.
Develop and nurture favourable relationships amongst communities and healthcare professionals.
Establish strategic affiliations with healthcare institutions and other tertiary institutions locally and internationally, for the achievement of College objectives.
Develop strategic links with professional bodies, governmental agencies, development partners and organizations having similar objectives.
Publish Books, Training Manuals, Journals and relevant Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, towards the achievement of College objectives.
Undertake any other activities appropriate for Colleges of Nursing and Health Sciences.
The College shall be both a teaching and examining body with comprehensive functions to advance nursing education.
Provide courses of instruction in Nursing Sciences and such other related subjects as may be prescribed the College and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N&MCN) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Make provisions for the delivery of lectures, conduct of examinations, hosting of conferences, public meetings, and other related events to advance the course of education in Nursing Sciences.
Conduct examinations and grant certificates and other requirements as may be laid down by the College from time to time.
Establish such departments or other units as may be required for teaching, learning, research, and community engagements.
Establish, equip and maintain Libraries, Laboratories, Lecture Halls, Tutorial and Seminar Rooms, Recreational Facilities, and Halls of Residence, as may be necessary and suitable for the staff and students of the College towards the achievement of the objectives aforesaid.
Promote staff excellence by encouraging staff retention and enhancing job satisfaction.
Prescribe in its regulations the condition under which persons may be admitted as students of the College for the course(s) of study provided by the College.
Prescribe rules for discipline of both staff and students of the College.
Publish and make available educational materials and other resources as may from time to time be issued by the College.
Produce and/or provide for record or otherwise, such books or other goods and services as may be considered appropriate and consistent with the objectives of the College.
Demand and receive from any other person attending the College for the purpose of instruction, such fees as the Governing Council of the College may from time to time prescribe.
Raise funds and other contributions in such manner as may be approved by the Governing Council.
Designate the Trustees or managers solely or jointly with any other person, of any property, legacy or gift in furtherance of the work and welfare of the College.
Do all such other acts or things as are Incidental or supplementary to the foregoing powers as may advance the objectives of the College and to exercise such other functions are set out in this Edict.
The College shall be obliged to operate as a private, faith-based institution and adhere strictly to the Edict by which it is established.
The College shall also be obliged to adhere strictly to the standards approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) ensuring conducive human relationship, prosperity and peace within the working environment.
The Power of the College is enshrined in the College Edict and the mandate of the College. The College policies are enshrined within approved manuals.
The College shall operate within the context of its Edict and avoid any situation that could lead to Litigation.
